The Furmint is one of the highest potential varieties of the world. This autochton variety is able to express perfectly the volcanic minerality of the vine growing area. We are able to produce dry white wines with great structure, fine minerality and elegance on the grand scale. Taking advantage on selection research results we plant loose bunch small berried Furmint clones on our new areas. This clone is low yielding, however gives the most structured, complex dry white wines with elegant and mineral character, and it is ageing well. The Furmint variety gives the base wine of our sweet wines. Today we produce dessert wines with intense fresh fruity character and refreshing, fine acidity.
Hárslevelű is the second most widely planted grape variety in the Tokaji wine region after Furmint. This variety is also able to express the terroir. It can produce well structured, complex white wine if harvested with strict yield control. Hárslevelű is a more aromatic variety, which also shows great depth when Botrytised.
This variety is also known as Muscat Blanc á Petit Grains. We own small plantation of Sárgamuskotály. From this variety we produce sweet wines only, we increase the intense fresh fruity aromas in our blends.
